Eligibility

Researchers, academicians, professionals, practitioners and students from any discipline can submit original manuscripts to AIRJ. There is no restriction based on institutional affiliation, career stage or geographic location. Scholarly quality is the only criterion we apply.

Title Page

The first page of the manuscript should contain:

• The title of the paper (concise and descriptive).
• The name(s) of the author(s) in the order they should appear.
• Institutional affiliation for each author.
• The corresponding author's email address.
• An abstract of 150 to 250 words.
• Three to six keywords.

Main Body

The main body of the manuscript should begin on a new page. It should follow a clear structure appropriate to the discipline (for empirical work: introduction, methodology, results, discussion, conclusion; for theoretical work: introduction, argument, discussion, conclusion). All headings must be formatted uniformly.

Typography and Layout

• File format: MS Word (.doc or .docx).
• Body text: Times New Roman, size 12, 1.5 line spacing.
• Footnotes: Times New Roman, size 10, single line spacing.
• Page size: A4, with normal margins (2.5 cm on all sides).
• Headings and subheadings should be numbered and formatted consistently throughout.

References and Citations

References must follow a consistent, recognised citation style appropriate to your discipline, such as APA, MLA, Chicago or a standard style used in your field. All in-text citations must appear in the reference list, and vice versa. Please double-check that URLs, DOIs and publication years are accurate.

Tables, Figures and Images

Tables and figures should be numbered sequentially and referred to in the text by number. Each should carry a short caption. Images must be of sufficient resolution (300 dpi minimum) and included both in the manuscript at their intended position and, where possible, as separate high-resolution files. Any third-party material must be accompanied by permission from the copyright holder.

Originality and Plagiarism

All submitted work must be original and unpublished, and must not be pending review at any other journal. Every submission is screened using Turnitin with an accepted similarity limit of 10% (excluding references and quoted text). Any form of plagiarism will result in disqualification. Co-Authorship

An article may be co-authored by up to three co-authors. All co-authors must have made a significant contribution to the work and must approve the final version before submission. Any change to the author list after submission requires the written consent of all listed authors.

Abstract

All research articles, review articles and short communications must be accompanied by a structured abstract of 150 to 250 words. The abstract should clearly state the objective, method, key findings and significance of the work. Book reviews do not require an abstract.

Ethical Statements

Where applicable, authors should include statements confirming (a) informed consent from human subjects, (b) approval from the relevant institutional ethics committee for research involving humans or animals, (c) disclosure of any conflicts of interest, and (d) acknowledgement of funding sources. If generative AI tools were used in preparing the manuscript, this must be disclosed in the methodology or acknowledgements section.

AIRJ operates as a fully open-access journal under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Licence (CC BY 4.0). Authors retain full copyright to their published work. By submitting to AIRJ, you grant the journal the right to publish and distribute your article under this licence, and you allow readers worldwide to freely access, share and build upon your research with proper attribution. Self-Archiving

Authors are permitted, and encouraged, to deposit the published version of their article in institutional repositories, subject repositories or personal websites at any time after publication, provided the original publication in AIRJ is properly cited.

Free to Publish, Free to Read

AIRJ does not charge any submission fee, article processing charge or publication fee. Every accepted article is published free of cost to the author and made freely available to readers worldwide.
